The stylists evaluated the attire of Jennifer Lopez by 7 points, as her bag does not fit the dress at all – it has another style. Besides, the stylists noted that the stars, mostly, do not follow one of the main rules – they should not wear heels with “maxi” sundresses.
7 points were given to the well-known businesswoman and political activist Samantha Cameron, as well as the to the model and TV star Chantelle Houghton.
In Samantha’s appearance stylists did not like the jacket – it is absolutely incompatible with the silk dress from Jaeger costing 299 pounds and with the bag. And Shantell made hairstyle unsuitable for such attire – with dresses and sundresses of this style one should have naturally flowing hair.
Dannii Minogue and Paris Hilton got out of the general “bohemian-hippy” style of the trend – Dannii received 5 points for the wrong leopard print, and Paris got only 4 points (according to stylists there are too many accessories and finishes) .

Coach brand has organized the Star Totes Charity Project in honor of the opening of its “flagship” boutique in Shanghai.

Afghan designer Osman Yousefzada has created a rather complex collection, full of various geometric shapes, which change the view of traditional proportions and volumes. After all, the fashion designer calls himself an “ethno-architect”. Osman Yusefzada does not deny the black color traditional to the autumn-winter season, but proposes to make it secondary, preferring soft pastel palette. The main colors dominating in his new collection are ash-grey, crimson, lemon-yellow, pale blue, beige. Different shades of pink and fuchsia shine with bright spots in the collection.

Dresses of the Eley Kishimoto british brand are created by the famous designers Marc Eley and the japanese Vakako Kishimoto – for the good mood in the coming autumn-winter season, they offer striking/bright models, adorned with the richest colors, multicolored patterns and ethnic motives. A simple cut and unpretentious silhouettes by Eley Kishimoto are compensated with complex prints, which decorate not only dresses, tops and skirts, but also stockings and tights.

In the autumn-winter collection of 2010-2011 from PPQ designers Percy Parker and Amy Molino included mainly chic evening gowns. An infinite number of variations on the theme of the little black dress the designers decorated with golden draperies, epaulettes, straps and rivets. The designers confessed that this collection is addressed to lovers of various parties and social events, and sources of inspiration were the “icons of style” of previous years (Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor), as well as the rock and roll sentiments of London. According to Stella and Alisher next aumumn is going to be sports glamour, flavored with self-irony . As for the guests of the day of foreign designers at RFW, shows of foreign fashion designers gathered a lot of stars in Moscow, including Philip Kirkorov, Anna Semenovich, Anastasia Stotskaya, Anita Tsoi, Lada Dance, Yana Lebedeva, Ekaterina Polozova, Ekaterina Odintsova and many others.

Tatiana Sorokko is the first Russian top model, who even in Soviet times made a successful career in the West and received international recognition. Her career began in 1990 in Paris. Tatiana was almost immediately noticed by famous French fashion designers Yves Saint Laurent and Hubert de Givenchy, whose shows she attended more than one season.

The former model Tatiana Sorokko brought to Moscow dresses which she wore at different times – thus, the exhibition reflects her views on fashion and style, but at the same time almost shows the entire history of fashion of the XX century.
One ofthe organizers of the event was the Tatler magazine, and the curator of the exhibition was Dennita Sivel, previously the director of collections in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and at the moment – the head of the fashion department in the Phoenix Museum of Art.

The exhibition represents primarily works of well-known brands such as Lanvin, Balmain, Balenciaga, Ungaro and also Ralph Rucci which are one of Tatiana’s most favorite brands by her own admission.
The exhibition brought together a lot of capital celebrities, including the organizer of Russian Fashion Week Alexander Shumsky, Nastia Vinokur, Evelina Khromchenko, Paulina Kitsenko, Danila Polyakov and many other figures of national fashion and art.

The strict minimalism in everything and discreet elegance were combined in clothes of the brand with graceful femininity and even some sexuality. Jackets, coats and raincoats, popular with fans of the brand seemed not only cute, but comfortable as well. Overcoats were slightly decorated with pockets, decorative cutting of coat-breasts or collar or coloring of two tones.

The new collection from Stella McCartney also includes tight pants, comfortable sweaters, knitwear and stylish jackets.
Multilayered models were distinguished with certain elegance – tops covered with a layer of organza, tunics and dresses with asymmetrical cut and loops. The original embroidery in folk style served as a finishing for lower layers of some dresses, and in the low layer of some dresses shiny “scale” was sewed.

The collection was completed with austere shoes with pointed toes – most of the shoes were on a comfortable low heel.
The color palette was dominated by white-grey-black and beige skin tones traditional for the brand, slightly diluted with bright splashes of orange-red, pinkish-red and crimson shades.

Shorts and overalls allow to coquettishly show legs, and for modest ones free, very comfortable trousers with a bow at the waist are offered.
Among the dresses there are multilayered skirts and grey T-shirts with colored ribbons, and chiffon rosettes. Bright high-heeled shoes may not completely coincide with the tone of clothing and contribute to a riot of colors.

In the outfits are dominant the asymmetry cut and glamour of the1970-1980-ies. There are rivets and inlay, “metallic” and perforation, uneven hems and transparent fabrics, slacks and trousers, shiny shoes with straps. Almost all the outfits are multilayered, and the dominant colors are black-gray-white and beige and yellow tones.

A lot of local celebrities gathered at the fashion show of Zaitsev, including Evelina Khromchenko and her son, Alyona Doletskaya, Olga Buzova, Marianna Maksimovskaya and Tatiana Mikhalkova.
Autumn-Winter Collection 2010-2011 from Slava Zaitsev turned out to be traditionally bright and colorful, with a predominance of red-black tones and luxurious decoration orders.

In addition, Zaitsev surprised the audience, falling into modernity and showing on the runway half-naked male models and men dressed in women clothes and on the “heels”. However, although many saw parallels with the early works of Chanel, all the guests were satisfied with the showing.
Young metropolitan stars – such as Irena Ponaroshku, Yana Lebedeva, Olga Shelest and Tanya Tereshina were present at the fashion show. It turned out that the designer of the brand has changed its name – now the brand is called Muscovites and is oriented on the West.

In a press interview Kravtsova said: “We want to refocus the brand on the Western audience. In the nearest future we plan to participate in Pitty Uomo (Italy) and Tranoi (France) fashion shows. I do not know what we shall manage to do as a result, but I think it is worth trying”.
Autumn-Winter Collection 2010-2011 from Muscovites was frankly dismal. Its basic colors are black, asphalt-grey, brown, emerald green, dirty beige. Complex cut, geometric shapes and thick fabrics create unusual style that will surely interest those who prefer alternative fashion.
Voluminous sweaters, pleated skirts and loose pants, narrowing at the ankles, are the functional basis for of the collection. In general, such clothes make feel warm, cozy and comfortable in autumn, though these dresses, as they say, are not to everyone’s taste.

And in an advertising photo shoot of spring-summer collection 2010 from Donna Karan the same model is presented in more gentle and romantic tones in accordance with dresses. The author of these stylish images became the famous master of fashion photography Patrick Demarchelier.

After the demonstration, local celebrities had an opportunity to chat a little with Posh and express their views on her new collection. It took almost twenty years, and maybe the whole her life would have been spent like this, and she would remain as an ordinary happy German woman, if not the only predictable news which has completely overturned her life.
One day Aenne found out that Franz has been having an affair with his own secretary for a long time, from whom he had a daughter. In order to support this spin-off family, the disloyal husband gave one of his printing shops and a small fashion magazine “Effi Moden”, which shortly enough overflowed by mismanagement. Forty-year old Aenne was not afraid to turn the family tragedy into a personal opportunity. Filled with a healthy anger, she called a lawyer, but not in order to start the divorce process, but to take away from her husband’s mistress the fashion magazine to manage on her own.
She succeeded brilliantly, and the borrowed magazine got a new concept: the pictures and the patterns of the simple, convenient and elegant dresses (those that any German woman was able to sew, by being able to keep in her hands a needle), plus recipes and tips for home renovation and furnishing.
In postwar Germany, where women were altering the old soldier’s uniforms, and longed for beautiful and non expensive clothes, for a comfortable and peaceful life, Aenne’s ideas were revolutionary, and the new styling editions for only the first half of the year rose from one hundred thousand to a half a million copies. The magazine got a new name in the honor of its new owner, whereas Franz Burda became the junior partner of his ex-wife.
Aenne Burda, how paradoxically it may sound, has never done a single stitch in all her life and hated the housework duties in all its forms (except perhaps for cooking). However her business proficiency and her intuition were above of all the praises, as she was said to be a woman ofintelligence, emotion, accustomed to achieve all she finds necessary and useful.
Aenne participated in fashion shows of Paris and Milan, by selecting models for her own magazine and trying to accommodate with the tastes and the financial abilities of her readers. She managed by her own her sprawling media empire (dozens of magazines, millions of readers) till 1994, when, she, at the age of 87, has decided to retire. Aenne passed away on Nov. 3, 2005.
The empire was inherited by her youngest son, Hubert, who also bought from his brothers their shares. The name of Aenne will always remain in our memories. The street where she lived almost all her life, in Offenburg will be named after her, as well as the humorous title of “Burdapesht” will be given to the local residents in this town, besides, it is also located at the headquarters of the company of Hubert Burda Media Holding.
“Burda Moden” is sold in kiosks even nowadays, but its bought mostly by those who really need high-quality patterns. It stopped being the symbol of beauty and glamour of the “foreign” life. Now it became one of many other magazines for sewing and housework.
