Bravissimo Brand Votes for “Real” Models
Should only models of “zero size” take part in shows and advertisements, or the models of “plus-size” have equal rights? In the world of western fashion this is not the first year that this never-ending dispute is discussed.
The next argument in favor of models of “plus size” was the joining of British lingerie brand Bravissimo to the war against “zero size” and excessive thinness.

This brand specializing in clothes for women with large breasts, held a competition in search of new models who are more like “real women” than those who usually defile the catwalk.
As a result of the competition of the Bravissimo brand, 5 winners were selected out of 600 girls, who became the new models of the brand. None of these girls have any experience in model business, but they are proud of their womanly figures, and their first, somewhat kitsch photo shoot in the style of “pin-up” turned out to be successful.
The aim of the held competition is the promotion of a healthy, more natural feminine body and lifestyle according to the brand leadership.
The official spokesman of Bravissimo, Anna Prins told in an interview: “Our new company advertise not only underwear, but also healthy woman’s body, showing that real women can also look amazing.”
“In addition, surveys of our customers proved us that potential buyers and modern fashionable women prefer to see real women on advertising images and not too skinny models”, – she added.
