The total amount of Prada’s debt is about 1.1 billion euro. In 2008, the net profit of the Italian house was only 99 million euro; it is 22% lower than at the end of 2007.

Summer has come with its wonderful weather, warm sun, flowered trees and soft greenery. And despite of the difficulties of time for many of us, it raises the spirit, awakens romantic notes in our souls. Women make researches of fashionable magazines, web sites and shops trying to find beauty recipes, fashion trends and new collections after the cold winter days. Despite the crisis we have to take care of us.

It will sound strange, but the industry of lingerie did not suffer from the crisis. It turns was given by the “Financial Times” newspaper in one its March articles, it says: «Many couples often preferred to stay at home during the crisis and instead women make “investments” in that sphere and buy intriguing underwear, to give more fire to their relations with a partner. It helps women feel better and all of us need to cheer up».

The Designers of underwear sensitively responded to the mood of society. By monitoring the trends of fashion lingerie in 2009, we can say that society, through a period of permissiveness and freedom of choice returns to the eternal values: love, family, home comfort, friendship and charity.

The trends of this year are compared with the turning point, when almost one hundred years ago, Gabrielle Chanel shocked the audience with her bikini collection. Since then, women’s bodies have become more and more uncovered with a goal to attract male’s attention. But in 2009, designers surprised us.

They offer to close many parts of their body: strings and tongs are replaced with high waist shorts. Combinations, which our mothers and grandmothers wore, are the novelties of the season. Decorated with laces in the style of retro and a fishnet or transparent will “advantageously” hide your beauty. The body is again modern. Its appearance is not as shocking as a combination’s, because the body became popular a few years ago.

Push-up bras do not give their positions. They are still fashionable as triangles bras, because they are ideal for the summer: they soft frames support and emphasize the breasts and they look perfectly under décolleté dresses. But it will be very fashionable and sexy if your push-ups will be decorated with laces, which will look coquettishly under the dress.

Now let’s talk about design. The most popular retro-trend underwear is made with lace, satin, silk or textures. The designers paid the particular attention to transparency in this season’s. Where else, if not with underwear it should be used.

The main fashionable color for underwear of this season is body tones. They will accentuate your forms, merged with the color of the body. It will look great if you wear it under transparent blouse. Other colors offered by designers are shades of sky, water, precious and semi-precious stones…

Designers, along with body color, also paid attention to all kinds of floral shades: pink, peach, cornflower, lilac … Designers created an elegant effect, decorated one-colored underwear with black or white laces.

Now it is swimwear’s’ turn. Every self-respecting woman should have at least three swimsuits in her wardrobe: two separate and one-piece one. It should be mentioned that both of them will be fashionable this summer. Here we presented several types of swimsuits.

Animal passion
For this summer season there are two major differences of prints: most famous brands have chosen a thin cloth with black and white combination of colors, the rest – remained with the thick fabric in pink color. The color of the zebra has become the most popular, especially in swimwear bikini. This summer collections of swimsuits are rich with laces. The prints of jungle and safari style were also seen on the podiums.

Blue color

Designers have produced a series of gorgeous, shiny “metallic-gold” colored shoes counter to the market pessimistic mood. It is gladiatorial sandals by Anna Sui, upholstered with carnations; Phillip Lim suggests a model decorated with rosettes of gold frill, and the “gold” shoes of Jean Paul Gautier differ with matte luster. Last season’s novelty of gold-silver combination surprised us a lot, because it ruined all rules of metallic colors’ combination.

Sweet colors

When can we enjoy the sweet floral tones? The answer is summer for sure. Especially that the palette is very “delicious”: pink color is like a coloring for a chewing gum and the violet is a color of a mountain violet. The trend will have the significant influence on retail sales, which will support such cult brands like Luella, Topshop, and Gucci. The play of dull and shiny materials draws attention to the sandals from Moschino and we find Marni’s collection and the compositions with pale wood and raw materials in lavender shades by Josh Goot the most original ones.

Yellow
Yellow, the companion of summer, in this season perfectly matches with black color on a base of soles, fringing and ribbon-tie. This contrast is similar to a combination of striped bumblebee coloring and perfectly accentuates sports or tribal motives.

Sun-parched
Many leading designers used dark tones of red palette under the influence of tribal motives. This color spectrum of footwear is giving a style of “Amazons”, painting a picture of deserts and blood-red tribal figures. Luis Vuitton’s collection is rich with colorful textures and tones mixes. First of all, it should be noted that almost all designers have decided to abandon the classical models of bags in the spring of 2009. Some have experimented with forms, while others – with colors, the third – with texture.
For example, designers of Prada presented a lot of bags with tighten strap above. And all models are made of brown and gray tones.

The designers of Marc Jacobs are originality as usual. In their collection there is a combination of textures and fabrics of different colors, multi-layerness, interesting straps in the form of chains or binding threads.
Such bold style is present in the collections of Louis Vuitton. Models of bags are made in bright colors, decorated with embroidery, leopard prints and brushes with large colored beads.

Elegant and feminine handbags are created by designers of Versace. Models of the fashion houses are made of precious white and gold. Fasteners are decorated with a large gemstone in the form of heart. Vera Wang designers also used precious stones as décor.

Bags with large overhead pockets, straps, brushes are represented in the collection of Gucci. Incidentally, this brand again brings back in fashion backpacks – large, bright and mostly one-colored.

Also interesting models of bags are represented in the collections of Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu, Burberry Prorsum, Hermes.

The marriage of one of the most beautiful woman in Indonesia with the Malaysian Sultan’s sun from the first moment was surrounded with lots of rumors. It should be marked that Manhor Dasy Fadzharina, model’s mother, was the source of rumors.

The biological father of the Indonesian model is an American, George Meng. However, the girl’s parents got divorced, and Fadzharina married a Frenchman, Rene Pino, who adopted her daughter. Manohar became one of the most famous models in Indonesia in her juvenile age and according to local Harpers Bazaar was in the top 100 most attractive women of the country,. The girl appeared on the covers of magazines and participated in fashion shows, and in December 2006, when she was not even fifteen years old, met her future husband, the son of the Sultan of Kelantan.

According to Daisy Fadzhariny, a year later her daughter’s fiancé raped her, though Manohar and Tengku got married by Islamic rules and customs in August 2008. After two months, the girl escaped back to her mother. At that time, the former model has claimed that her husband regularly beat her and abused sexually. The Prince didn’t conceal his intention to return her back home. On February 28, 2009, on the seventeenth birthday of his wife, he bought an expensive car as a present and invited Manohar with her mother and step sister to Makka.

There are different versions of what really happened on 9th of March. Fadzharina stated that she was offered a million dollars worth apartment in Jakarta in order to refuse to see Manohar. At the same time, the attention of public was attracted by the fact that the reception, where a young model met the Prince, was arranged by Najeeb Tun Razak, at that time a vice premier, now the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Najib previously was suspected in the murder of 28-year-old Mongolian translator Altantui Sharibu, whose disfigured and unrecognizable body was found several months after she disappeared. The Indonesian fans’ of Manohar were afraid for the girl’s life.

On the prince’s thirty-second birthday (31st of March) the couple’s photos again appeared in the newspapers. The girl looked happy, but Daisy Fadzharina in the next interview said: “If my daughter is smiling, it does not mean that she is happy.” There were rumors that Manohar was sending sad letters to her parents. Mother demanded intervention by the authorities, but all that she gained was a criticism of the press. Fadzharinu was criticized that she let her juvenile daughter to get married, despite the fact that the girl’s step-father was against of that marriage.

Manohar came back to Indonesia in the end of May and arranged a press conference where she described the sufferings which she carried in Malaysia and how she managed to escape. According to the girl, the husband kept her locked all the time and treated as an object, without paying any attention to her wishes. Whenever she refused to have relationship with him Tengku beat her and sometimes even cut her body with a razor. Manohar also said that she couldn’t sleep at night, as she was feared to get an injection. This story seems strange, but that does not mean that Manohar is lying. She explained her smiling face on the photos as the fact that she had to show a happy face because they threatened her.

What do we know about girl’s escape? Manohar and Tengku came to Singapore to visit the Sultan who was treated at a local clinic. Manohar informed her mother about the hotel where they stayed and arranged meeting with her. Prince’s bodyguards were trying to keep her back, but cameras were everywhere, so Singaporean police intervened in the case. Then mother and daughter asked the Indonesian embassy for help, but it was Sunday and none of the diplomats were there. However, the representatives of the American Embassy assisted Manohar in returning back to Indonesia.

Daisy Fadzharina told that her daughter will divorce and they will complain to the court. Sultan’s family did not comment on the situation, but retinue denied and announced that Prince himself allowed his wife to leave and take all her clothes and other things with her. They also said that Tengku agreed to give divorce, if Manohar wants.

It is difficult to find out the truth. The only thing that could clear the situation was a medical examination. The government of Malaysia announced that there will be no investigational process, because it is a personal relationship.

What will happen with Manohar Odelia Pinot is not clear. If the trial is held, it will certainly attract the attention of foreign press – in the western world, such stories are no longer considered «family affairs».
