Cecila Claesson: Original and Stylish Decorations from Fragments of Porcelain
Swiss artist and designer Cecil Claesson has rich imagination and creates stylish decorations of the fragments of porcelain and ceramic ware.
For creating her collections, she buys battered or damaged vessels of fine porcelain and ceramic pieces on sales, flea markets and in antique shops.
Then, fragments of vases, cups, saucers and plates undergo several processing stages: first they are polished, then brushed with a special mastic, and covered by protective lacquer – and are transformed into an elegant brooch, an original pendant, stylish bracelet or exclusive ring.
