Chanel Collection 2009
Traditional interseasonal collection from Chanel this year has been devoted to Russia. The traditional Russian look attributes. The main accessories are chains which frame face, shining tights, gloves, boots and a lot of fur and gold.
This season, many designers have abandoned the traditional shocking of the audience, presenting a saleable collection. This is right, perhaps a bit boring. Ideal cross-linked coats, luxurious and sexy dresses, suits of rich color palette.
The severity of 40′s. 40’s, quietly assert in the last seasons. Suites made of dense cloth, knee-high pencil skirts which highlight the line of the waist and broad shoulders. To tell the truth the “new 40’s” are much more elegant: high heels, a thin waist, heavily penciled eyes, the red color, by the way, a new collection from Christian Dior, is a real feast for fetishists.
Simplicity will save the world. Minimalism is again in fashion! Minimum decor, minimum colors, minimum lines, the emphasis is on personality.
Sexuality. Along with confidence in the style of 80’s the collection stresses female sexuality.
Focusing on the youth. The designers are increasingly inspired by youth fashion and street fashion to create their collections. Marni, Just Cavalli, Nina Ricci are also in this list.
The variety of autumn coats. The coats for the autumn season are so diverse that a detailed review of them will take more than one article, and will be posted later. In any case, many models are worth admiring. Silhouette coat is for every taste: from cocoon to a trapeze. The colors are darker; sometimes you can see a white coat. The sleeves are often short or edged with fur.
Fur. This season fur is dominating. Fur jackets, fur coats, fur capes, fur on collar and sleeves, fur on boots and gloves.
