This year the famous Chopard jewelry brand celebrates its 150th anniversary. On the occasion of such a significant anniversary the brand has made an amazing collection of exclusive jewelry called “Animal World”.
In this collection the jewelers have embodied the world of wildlife in luxurious jewelry.
The anniversary collection “Animal World” from Chopard includes 150 models of jewelry – according to the number of years since the foundation of the brand.
Rings and brooches, pendants and necklaces, bracelets and earrings are made by skilled craftsmen from gold and diamonds of all shades, with the addition of sapphires and many other precious stones.
Around 250 000 precious stones and about 20 000 hours have been spent for the creation of this collection.
But above all, the uniqueness of this jewelry miracle is in the images of wildlife: frogs, turtles, polar bears, rabbits, monkeys, antelopes, storks, tigers, seahorses, insects, fish and many others. Each ornament is dedicated to one species of animals.
At the same time the jewelers did not only portray animals, but also tried to create real sculptural compositions, truthfully reflecting/depicting not only the appearance of a beast, but also the natural environment of its habitation.
