Christian Louboutin and Barbie Doll
Famous couturier Christian Louboutin has become another “victim” of the World “Barbie-boom”, carefully organized by the Mattel company, which produces this known-to-all doll.
As we have already mentioned, now, they not only celebrate the birthday of Barbie in the whole world – the best designers dedicate their collections to her and come up with new stylish clothes for the doll.
So, maestro Louboutin signed a contract with the company Mattel, under which it will not only update the wardrobe of the doll with shoes and accessories from Christian Louboutin, but will be her “art director” for the whole year. This includes, inter alia, mandatory photo sessions in which Christian is photographed with Barbie in different situations of life and roles.
“Barbie has a great experience of cooperation with many celebrities, including, designers, whose muse has become our puppet, – said in a press interview, Stephanie Cota (Stephanie Cota), vice president of marketing for Barbie. – It is quite natural for Barbie – not only because of her huge wardrobe, but also because of her passion for fashion footwear. There are just billions of Barbie shoes, and we need to create something special for her collection of shoes.
Among all other existing things Christian Louboutin plans to make several changes in the three models of dolls, created by his brand and inspired by the images of Nefertiti and Marilyn Monroe.
