The Designers of underwear sensitively responded to the mood of society. By monitoring the trends of fashion lingerie in 2009, we can say that society, through a period of permissiveness and freedom of choice returns to the eternal values: love, family, home comfort, friendship and charity.
The trends of this year are compared with the turning point, when almost one hundred years ago, Gabrielle Chanel shocked the audience with her bikini collection. Since then, women’s bodies have become more and more uncovered with a goal to attract male’s attention. But in 2009, designers surprised us.
They offer to close many parts of their body: strings and tongs are replaced with high waist shorts. Combinations, which our mothers and grandmothers wore, are the novelties of the season. Decorated with laces in the style of retro and a fishnet or transparent will “advantageously” hide your beauty. The body is again modern. They are still fashionable as triangles bras, because they are ideal for the summer: they soft frames support and emphasize the breasts and they look perfectly under décolleté dresses.
