“Jazz” Collection from Anne Fontaine: Black and White Elegance
For the creation of the autumn-winter collection of women clothing 2009-2010, by Anne Fontaine, the designer was inspired by the music of Miles Davis – one of the famous American jazz classics, whose works are distinguished by the diversity and unpredictability of the amazing sound combinations and harmonies.

The collection is called “Black Pearl”, and it is full of a variety of contrasts, like the music of Davis. These contrasts are expressed in black and white colors, combined with airy and translucent fabrics with heavy and dense bows, ruches and other “ornaments” – with strict smooth surfaces.
The game of contrasts and a little bit vintage style of the collection give stylish elegance and refined generosity. And for fans of dilute black-and-white gamma-ray bursts there are dark blue, dark green and violet colors included in the collection.
