Joe Corre: Agent Provocateur Brand Founder
Designer Joe Corre, the son of the famous couturier Vivienne Westwood, leaves Agent Provocateur, the brand of luxury lingerie founded by him 15 years ago.
Now the brand will be managed by the former wife of the designer Serena Rees. Corre himself said that he was going to do music and create his own male line called Child of the Jago. The new brand got this strange name in honor of the Victorian novel “Child of Iago” about the slums of the East London.
Under the leadership of Corre over the past 15 years brand Agent Provocateur has published many remarkable luxurious products. During this period, many high-profile advertising campaigns were created, known for their erotic candor.
At various times, the underwear of the brand was promoted by such stars as Kate Moss, Dita Von Teese, Peaches Geldof, Daisy Lowe, Maggie Gillenhol, Helena Christensen and Kylie Minogue.
Some ad campaigns with celebrities on the degree of their openness were even banned for the viewing of children under 18 years: for example, such a thing happened with the ad campaign “She has Lost Control”, where Dita Von Teese was shot.
So, the founder of Agent Provocateur is leaving his brand, but it is not known if that means the brand production style and its advertisements will change. So far, company officials said they are going to please their clients with a collection of jewelry, which will be released by Christmas.
Today we bring you snippets of advertising campaigns and promotional videos of Agent Provocateur, with Kate Moss, Maggie Gillenhol and Kylie Minogue.
