The costume was created in the atelier «Lemarie» by three Lagerfeld’s assistant under his direct control – the work took more than 100 hours. Carl personally presented the costume to his muse in the Chanel’s boutique in Paris. Ballerina showed the couturier an unexpected dance improvisation.
