Extraordinary Fashion: Lady Gaga’s Style
A designer, stylist and art director Fred Butler, known for his incredible accessories, created another mad hat for Lady Gaga – a hat decorated with a telephone. This wonderful piece of wardrobe was made specifically for the singer’s stage costume in the new song-video “Telephone”, where Lady Gaga sings with Beyoncé Knowles.
In the internet blog, Butler wrote: “I created a stunning hat for Lady Gaga’s new video. I am grateful to her stylist Nicola Formichetti for the support of young British designers. In this crazy phone hat the whole London will be at the feet of the star!”
But as you know, Lady Gaga loves stunning costumes not only on the stage but in videos as well. For a long time all the couturiers in London, working in the avant-garde style, literally “sew one woman” as for each appearance in the public the singer needs new stunning clothes with lace, leather and latex, masks, and of course – the most amazing hats.
The constant change of Lady Gaga’s clothes requires a high speed of creation. For example, according to Fred Butler, he had to sew one of the elaborated black hats for a fixed order of celebrity almost within a day.
