Lily Cole Wants to Leave Fashion
The famous model Lily Cole thinks, whether she should leave the podium and fashion in general as a lot of opportunities have been opened for the girl in the world of cinema.
Lilly, a red-haired British beauty, like a fairy princess, is only 21 years old, and she studied art history at the prestigious University of Cambridge.
A couple of years ago she started acting in movies, and is keen to develop her career in this field. One of the recent works of Lily have become the films “Rage” and “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”, of the famous director Terry Gillyama.
Lily Cole says about her career: ‘This is not the most important thing for me. If I am offered some interesting projects in films, I’ll take them over. I have two more years of studying at the university; there is time to decide who I want to be.
“I love art more than anything in life, – admitted the model and the actress. – My mother is a real artist; I think I have taken my talent from her. I sometimes draw and play piano.
Despite her success in the film “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”, where she played with Heath Ledger, the girl is determined to improve her acting skills.
“I have a lot to learn as an actress, – she says. – Of course, the fact that I am a professional model has helped me to feel calm before the camera. However, emotionally and intellectually models are completely “turned off” during the show and in the movies one should be in the role all the time, within the character.
