Madonna Washes Dishes for Dolce & Gabbana
As we have have already mentioned, Madonna has become the “face” of the spring-summer 2010 advertising campaign of the famous Dolce & Gabbana brand.
Recently, in an Italian issue of Vanity Fair, were published the first pictures where the famous master of fashion photography, Steven Klein, captures the singer in clothes of a popular brand.
I must say that these black and white photographs of Madonna were made in an unusual role for her: she washes dishes, cooks and eats pasta.
Renowned designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana told in a press interview that the inspiration for this photo shoot was the neorealism era of the Italian movies, and Madonna looks natural and sexy, like a well-known Italian actress Anna Magnani, who once was one of the “icons of style”.
When asked if Madonna can wash the dishes, and eat spaghetti, Stefano Gabbana said: “Of course she knows – she is a very practical woman. And she can well afford spagetti, since Madonna has large sports load.
