New York Fashion Week: Bright and Glamorous Youth Summer of Proenza Schouler
The duo of young and talented designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough came up with marks for Proenza Schouler bright and stylish spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear 2010.
“We wanted to create something fresh and new, therefore, largely inspired by the surfers costumes and skaters clothes – because we grew up on these things”, – said designers in an interview.
At New York Fashion Week (Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2010) Proenza Schouler brand, introduced a number of remarkable and bright mini-dresses and costumes, many of which were decorated with prints in the style of “wild”.
It is surprising that the designers managed so gradually and gently to anchor in the model the theme of surfers and skateboarders sportswear that it did not stop to look glamorous and dressy. Clothing and bags of collection are characterized by the same juicy, and even neon colors and prints, as clothing.
