New York Fashion Week: Bright Mosaic of Thakoon
The popularity of the young designer Takun Panichgula and Thakoon brand has recently increased – and last but not least, thanks to the support of First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama.
The spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear 2010 was shown at New York Fashion Week (Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2010), and was made in the best traditions of the brand, and we can say, that it continues the Thakoon subject of the Resort-2010 collection.
The collection includes bright colored dresses, some of which are made in favorite designer style “mosaic” and the other is made of “myatogo” or pleated silk jacquard with fine and colorful floral prints.
Youth outfits from Thakoon absorbed a lot of styles, including Japanese motifs and fashionable now “sporty” design.
