Paris Fashion Week: Color Erotica with Feathers and Fringe from Giambattista Valli
As it turned out at the Paris Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2010, not only John Galliano is inspired by the beginning of XX century. Another well-known couturiers as Giambattista Valli in his spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010 by Giambattista Valli included elements of style 1920.

After a bright but modest fall-winter collection 2009-2010, where the predominant length was “maxi”, Wally made an abrupt turn and presented to the public collection of youth glamorous and erotic mini-dresses that uncovered not only legs and chest.
New chic outfits from Giambattista Valli are something reminiscent of the cabaret of the last century and the era of jazz. Dresses from the new collection are richly decorated with colored feathers, three-dimensional floral appliqués, ruff, exquisite glittering embroidery, pleating, and almost cowboy fringe.
Some cloth with patterns and fleecy fabric are reminiscent of antique carpets, and transparent tops fully uncover the chest.

Add to this vivid prints (from the geometrical – to leopard), sometimes arranged by colored blocks, egg-shaped cut dresses and coats, cocoons, and you will get a rough idea of this collection.
Color texture of new clothes of the brand is rich with bright shades of red, pink and scarlet and green; black and white dresses are the basis for the collection. The most popular among the stars who were at the show were leopard models – especially suits with shorts.
In a press interview Valli confessed that when creating a collection he thought about the great artists of the early XX century and the ethnic style. In the next articles we will introduce you the fragments of clothes, shoes, handbags and other accessories from Giambattista Valli.
