Paris Fashion Week: Glamorous Ecstasy of Haute Couture by Lanvin
Famous couturier Alber Elbaz, as it turned out at the Paris Fashion Week, likes to surprise and amaze even the experienced audience.
The show of the spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear from Lanvin in 2010 left no one indifferent from the audience and provoked a storm of emotions from both critics and by the invitees to the catwalk.

Among the professional reviews on this collection were: “the bombing of the emotional and visual pleasure”, “congestion of color and originality,” “ecstasy of High Fashion” and “outrageous glamour.”
This show spring-summer collections from Lanvin began quite traditionally – with the brand characteristic minimalist black and white dresses with wavy ruffles.
The real surprise and a celebration of fashion started with a demonstration of red models, followed by a kind of “explosion” of haute couture.
Admired spectators were struck by unimaginable draperies, the play of transparent fabrics, pleating and skin color, amazing suits, spiral frill, superimposed on each other dresses, bright colors, original massive decorations and rich finish sequins and inlays.

But the main motive of the whole collection was the adored asymmetry – not only in a cut, but also in accessories. For example, earrings, bracelets and gloves are suggested to be worn only on one hand.
Summing up the review, we can confidently say that the famous couturier surpassed himself and really surprised fans of Lanvin, accustomed to minimalism in the production of the brand.
