Paris Fashion Week: Luxurious “Rock ‘N’ Roll” from Balmain
The Paris Fashion Week of Fall / Winter ready-to-wear 2010 has started and we are going to introduce you those models shown.
The designer of the Balmain brand Christophe Dekarnin surprised all fans of the brand. Autumn-winter collection ready-to-wear of 2010-2011 from Balmain is no longer a “hussar ballet” and not fashion in the style of disco, this is luxurious “rock ‘n’ roll” in the baroque style.
The new collection of the brand is full of shining gold clothes, in which modern trends merged with echoes of the style of the seventeenth century.
The colored fur, brocade and other expensive fabrics with sophisticated designs, gold embroidery, lace neckerchief, jacket cut and bows – all this is combined in the new collection of Balmain with enlarged shoulders, tight leather pants, belts and fringes, jackets and coats in the style of rock .
There are also, of course, leopard prints, transparent blouses and dresses in vintage-style uniforms. Apart from elegant trousers suits in the spirit of the 1970 vintage and all sorts of ensembles, the brand also offers its “crown” models – sexy mini-dresses and glamorous gowns
