Paris Fashion Week: New Fantasies from Christian Dior
The famous fashion designer John Galliano decided to continue the riding costumes theme in the new collection of Christian Dior, shown at the ready-to-wear Fall / Winter 2010.

The collection was rich in all sorts of Variations on a theme jockey shape and the old lady’s riding habit, including high suede and leather boots, British military caps and top hats, jackets and coats, jackets and riding breeches, outdoor clothing, which silhouette looked like a coat-frock-coat of the XVIII century.
Of great interest was the combination of elements inspired by the theme of riding and delicate chiffon and muslin dresses in the style of the beginning of the XX century, richly decorated ruches, lace trim and other fine work. These dresses were translucent and very seductive, full of cuts and neckline.

At some point, Galliano fashion show once again managed to surprise the audience, suddenly stepping down from the theme of “noble vintage” to the stylish “country”: checkered tweed and mohair, “scottish” colors, the more “common people” caps, sweaters and dresses with major breeding.
In general, knitted items from the collection attracted as much attention as leather and fur products – thanks to new technology, they were made in the form of ruffles.
The color palette of the collection was dominated by black and white, pastel, olive-green, brown and red and yellow tones.
