Paris Fashion Week: Royal Luxury by Alexander McQueen
The show of autumn-winter collection of ready-to-wear 2010-2011 by Alexander McQueen at Paris Fashion Week Paris Fashion Week ready-to-wear Fall / Winter 2010 was very special. This is not surprising because models of this talented deceased designer have recently been demonstrated on the podium.
The team of colleagues from his brand presented a small but impressive collection of 16 outfits at the Fashion Week.

The “right hand” and the main assistant of the designer Sara Barton remembers: “In his latest collection McQueen decided to move away from modernity, from the world of computers and the Internet, which he embodied in the previous show. He wanted to return to the old traditions, to his favorite handmade outfits, to the bright beauty of the fashion of Middle Ages. By the time of the death of couturier all 16 models were ready by 80%.
The poetic beauty of medieval and religious motives was reflected not only in relatively simple, noble and elegant silhouettes of models from the latest collections of Alexander McQueen – they were in a complex stamping and embroidery of fabrics, where angels from medieval icons as well as demons with paintings of Bosch were depicted.

The head of models with strange “cock” crests simultaneously reminded the rebellious youth of McQueen with “iroquois” common in Britain, and modest women headgear from medieval portraits of Northern Europe.
The last show of Alexander McQueen was held in a quiet, pleasant atmosphere – in a small old room, with minimum guests, who paid tribute to a wonderful designer.
