Paris Fashion Week: Viktor & Rolf
One of the most unusual and fantastic collections at Paris Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2010, which is already an established tradition, was the creation of young and very talented designers, such as Viktor Horstinga and Rolf Snoro.
The spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010 by Viktor & Rolf – is one big experiment and cheeky joke of great couturier, who do not want to take seriously the economic crisis. “With the terrible crisis, we also decided to” cut “costs and simply cut evening dresses” – laugh the designers.

Indeed, the collection included many fantastic costumes, decorated with layered and pleated ruff and frills, as if cut with a saw.
Of particular interest were the models, with their geometric shape like denying gravity, and a pink “leaky” evening dress has become very famous – it Katy Perry wore on the ceremony at the 2009 MTV European Music Awards.
Of course, not all of Viktor & Rolf collection consisted only of the geometric “monsters” – there were more traditional outfits. Mini-dresses with drapes and elements of masculine tuxedo, suits with pants and shorts in pastel colors of silk, lace and other “underwear” materials, and models reminding Bathrobes.

Today’s trendy theme, like underwear, pajamas and robes were widely reflected in the brand new collection – as with the target tissue and coloring, as with design and embroidery. The collection also included very stylish shoes with shiny mesh, straps and drapery, as well as flowers and other three-dimensional applications.
