Ralph Livshitz was born in the southern part of New York in October 14, 1939. Before his birth Ralph’s father emigrated to the U.S.A. from the former USSR (Belarus).

His suits and shirts for men differ with their pattern, materials and the simplicity of form. At the same time, Ralph Lauren produces a line of furniture and home accessories. This approach to business development was considered to be innovative, because previously no one dared to differentiate the business. Fashion designer was able to build his own empire, which offers a particular way of life under the “Ralf Lauren” brand.
Polo Style focuses on attracting the attention of the dominant class of wealthy people. Ralph Lauren is famous for his cult items – leather jackets in the style of “rancho”, boots – Cossacks, skirts in the “country” style and, of course, wide silk ties. Thanks to his innovative ideas Ralph Lauren’s collections are popular all over the world.
In 1986, the designer got a prestigious award “CFDA” becoming “The Designer of the Year”. This title has been confirmed twice in 1995 and 1996. In 1992, Ralph Lauren was awarded for achievements in the field of fashion – “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Council of Fashion.
