Robert Pattinson and Alexa Chung – The Most Stylish Stars of the Year
January is the month of the traditional analysis of the world of fashion and style. As always, glossy magazines publish lists of “the most stylish” celebrities, and today we will introduce them to you.GQ British magazine made a list of the best dressing male stars “GQ Best Dressed List 2010″, and headed the table with Robert Pattinson. The 23-year-old actor from the “twilight” saga this year was named the most stylish, although in the past he gained only 39 th place.
Its interesting, that the famous designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana named Pattinson, often appearing in public in t-shirts and jeans, very elegant and inspiring, representing a real modern man.”
In second place the list of the most stylish and well-known men includes the members of the ‘Take That” band: Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen.
According to the stylists, they proved that even men under 40 years can still be stylish and modern, not imitating the young.
The third position occupies Alex Turner, the fourth place (surprise!) – The hero of the Fantastic Mr. Fox cartoon, narrated by George Clooney. Stylists say that this fictional character is so stylish, that represents the “four-footed Paul Newman.”
The fifth place of the most stylish men of GQ magazine is taken by the designer Tom Ford, the sixth by actor Daniel Craig, and in descending order – David Furnish, David Cameron, David Beckham and rapper Dizzee Rascal. Dizzy was included in the list because of his “ability to wear a white suit.”
GQ magazine also has a “black list” of the worst dressed celebrities. This “shameful dozen” is headed by the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown – naming him “anything but the best example of British style. Two more politics are also included in this list: the President of France Nicolas Sarkozy – in third place, and the North Korean leader Kim Jong Il in the
eighth position.
However, this month in glossy magazine were not only assessed the style and the ability to wear of the stars-men: for example, Vogue magazine called the British star and TV anchorwoman Alexa Chung the most stylish celebrity of 2009.
26-year-old Alex, who until recently worked for MTV, often leads different lists of “the most stylish stars”. Then comes the famous actress Audrey Tautou, who recently played the role of young Coco Chanel.
The third position in the list is taken by 44-year-old Sarah Jessica Parker – obviously influenced by her role in the film “Sex and the City”.
In the list of “the most stylish ladies” from Vogue was also included Emma Watson, whose career in the fashion world is moving forward by leaps and bounds. Angelina Jolie took only the 15 th place, despite her wonderful clothes.
The 13-th place (before of Angelina Jolie!) is occupied by a young star of “Gossip” Leighton Meester. One of the surprises was the appearance of Lady Gaga on the 11 th position in the list of the most stylish ladies – Vogue, apparently, appreciates her efforts to create the most eccentric and original style in life and on stage.
Michelle Obama took 14 th place in the list, and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy only the 19-th.
