Scottish Fashion Show: Stars Dressed in Kilts and Tartan
An unusual fashion show has recently been held in New York – the regular annual charitable fashion show under the amusing name “Dressed To Kilt”, where many western stars performed as models.
The main theme of the demonstrated clothes, of course, was Scottish national clothes; first of all, men’s skirts- kilts and other folk costumes. The men participating in the show were dressed in kilts, indispensable tartan, as well as vintage jackets and vests, socks, shoes and pants.

However, women did not fall behind either: they sported stylish and luxurious, sometimes revealing dresses in vintage and modern styles, for which a lot of “tartan” and all sorts of cellular tissues had been used.
It should be noted that a lot of celebrities, mostly men attended this show. Famous actors in the West such as the star of “Twin Peaks” Kyle MacLachlan, Alan Cumming and Sam Waterson, an American skater Shani Davis, as well as an actor, singer and model Marcus Schenkenberg decided to dress in kilts and bare their feet.
The famous actor and Hollywood star Matthew Modine amused all appearing on the stage in an old suit, a checkered beret and checked bike on his shoulder. In the hands the actor held a bottle of Scotch whiskey, which he began to drink immediately straight from the bottle.

American singer and TV star Kellie Pickler came in a wonderful mini-dress and fetching hat, and the rock guitarist, singer and actress Joan Jett impressed the audience with a fantastic leather coat and a wonderful headdress with feathers on head.
In addition, the 2010 Dressed To Kilt Charity Fashion Show was attended by rugby player Thom Evans and the band Bowfire, who played violin and danced merrily right on the podium.
