Singer Ciara and Givenchy Brand: Music and Fashion Union
Recently, in Rio de Janeiro, took place the unusual fashion Oi Fashion Rocks, on the amazing creative union of music and fashion. The show was attended by international and Brazilian designers, musicians, singers.
The event took place on fall-winter collection 2009-2010 catwalk by Givenchy – it was accompanied by a famous singer and model Ciara, whose first CD “Goodies” led the charts. Chief designer brand Riccardo Tisci remained very pleased with the performance – at the end of fashion he went to bow and hugged Ciara. Actually, Riccardo and Ciara have long admired each other: fashion designer calls Ciara the best singer, and she often dresses in costumes from Givenchy.
Recently, in her blog on Twitter Ciara confessed that she will soon become a “muse of Givenchy” and was very glad for that.
Besides Ciara, in the event Oi Fashion Rocks, which led Fernanda Lima, there were many other stars of fashion and the stage.
Mariah Carey sang during a collection of Calvin Klein, the performance by Grace Jones accompanied defile of Marc Jacobs, P. Diddy’s song “post-synched” on show of Versace. In addition, many collections were demonstrated and many songs were sang.
