Spring-Summer Collection from Balmain
Nowadays the designer Christophe Decarnin is very popular in the West. For his glittering costumes with big shoulders fashion lovers are ready to pay a huge amount of money.
The critics have identified the theme of the spring-summer collection ready-to-wear 2010 from Balmain as: “cave woman in a disco style goes to war”.
This time, Dekarnen has decided to combine his famous glamorous style, full of glittering gold dresses and hussar vintage uniforms with fashionable trends “grunge” and “military”.

The collection includes sexy mini-dresses – “ripped”, tight, with wide belts, asymmetrical, with perforation.
Mini-skirts, tops, jeans and t-shirts also have scattered holes and uneven hems that skillfully create grunge feeling of “torn” and “rags”.
If you wear a jacket with a “hussar” embroidery and epaulettes, enlarged shoulders, tops with huge notches almost to the navel, all sorts of “loincloths” and skirts of the same length, tight shiny pants and micro-shorts with this dress, you’ll get a rough idea of this collection.

Military themes in new outfits from Balmain were due to “khaki” colors, “soldier” shoes and pants, looking like a scrim fabric net, belts decorated with shells, tops and T-shirts of swamp color.
This “military” looked especially original in the background of bright gold and bronze shades of “metallic”. In addition, the color spectrum of the collection also included a lot of black, silver, and dark blue colors.
