SUVENIR AW 2009/10 «Drama»
Ideological basis for the SUVENIR fashion house Autumn-Winter 2009/10 collections named «DRAMA» is the creativity of a great artist-modernist M.A. Vrubel. His most famous works are «Demon» and «Princess-Swan» which personify the unity of two origins: the fragile virginal beauty of female nature and a male essence powerful burst of passion, that is why the designer represented two collection lines at the same time: for men and women. Also, the designer presented a surprise to all in the form of a new line of fur and leather, which he has put into production this season. The creation of fur is similar to magic. And a delightful union of fur and connoisseur is always a miracle, both obvious and incredible.
Patters in Al-Nouveau and embroideries are required features in SUVENIR style. Usually they are magnificent and cheerful design and flowers that remind Pavlo-posadian scarves. But this season, senior designer of the brand Tatiana Alekhina created the dramatic gowns with sophisticated patterns and jacquard fabrics with al-Nouveau geometry. Colors of collection are built on complex combinations of blue-black, dark crimson and mustard colors. The play of various compound shades is giving a dramatic image of luxury. Space-charge details, close-fitting in the waist silhouettes that are so typical for Tatiana Alyokhina consequently give a fresh and fine look. Moreover, due to the skilful work with color and texture, decoration is not overloading the clothes. Jacquard fabric with floristic patterns which were used in this collection is very diverse. There are slightly fuzzy flowers, decorated with multi-threads or embroidery, small naively ironic bouquets on a dark background and the simple patterns of narrow-leaf form.
SUVENIR collection is very practical. It is always possible to find items for all occasions. The collection is full with flexible close-fitting coats with narrow shoulders, trousers and skirts from superfine Italian wool, chiffon blouses decorated with ruche and hanging bows, soft jackets with built-belts. Traditionally, much attention is paid to SUVENIR dresses. They are very different: ideally fitted cases with big details and patterns, summer dresses in the spirit of baby-doll, symmetrical drape tunics, dresses, balloon-dresses with tight bras and, of course, a collection of cocktail and evening dresses simply or richly decorated with semiprecious stone embroideries.
The Collection is completed with the stunning black mink, beige broadtail and fiery foxes, fur coats of different lengths, as well as leather products, tailored with natural mother-of-pearl, silver and pearls, with the finishing of fur silver fox and a black mink as well as unusual combinations of contrasting colors; subtle decoration will be certainly appreciated by the beautiful ladies. Sophisticated and rigorous collection gives you the feeling of magnificent luxury.
