Due to the tradition, not only local designers but also foreign guests attended the Russian Fashion Week in Moscow. Today we will introduce the autumn-winter collections of 2010-2011, presented at the RFW by British brands Osman, Eley Kishimoto and PPQ as well as by Ndombi Stella brand from Congo.

Afghan designer Osman Yousefzada has created a rather complex collection, full of various geometric shapes, which change the view of traditional proportions and volumes. After all, the fashion designer calls himself an “ethno-architect”. Osman Yusefzada does not deny the black color traditional to the autumn-winter season, but proposes to make it secondary, preferring soft pastel palette. The main colors dominating in his new collection are ash-grey, crimson, lemon-yellow, pale blue, beige. Different shades of pink and fuchsia shine with bright spots in the collection.

Dresses of the Eley Kishimoto british brand are created by the famous designers Marc Eley and the japanese Vakako Kishimoto – for the good mood in the coming autumn-winter season, they offer striking/bright models, adorned with the richest colors, multicolored patterns and ethnic motives. A simple cut and unpretentious silhouettes by Eley Kishimoto are compensated with complex prints, which decorate not only dresses, tops and skirts, but also stockings and tights.

In the autumn-winter collection of 2010-2011 from PPQ designers Percy Parker and Amy Molino included mainly chic evening gowns. An infinite number of variations on the theme of the little black dress the designers decorated with golden draperies, epaulettes, straps and rivets. The designers confessed that this collection is addressed to lovers of various parties and social events, and sources of inspiration were the “icons of style” of previous years (Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor), as well as the rock and roll sentiments of London. That is why there are only two colors in the PPQ collection – black and gold. Combining different fabrics and textures (velvet, silk, satin, leather, fur, fringe), designers create compound outfits, exquisite silhouettes which will be equally appropriate on the red carpet and at a party in a club. Dresses from PPQ are selected by many stars not in vain: Lily Allen, Peaches Geldof, Lindsay Lohan.

The last defile of the “foreign day” at the Russian Fashion Week was the collection of Ndombi Stella brand, created by the model Stella Ndombe from Congo and the stylist Alisher. The new autumn / winter collection was called Boxer Second Skin, since during its creation the designers were inspired by different martial arts and boxing. Seductive tops, shorts, tight pants made of contrasting leather, wide belts – compulsory attributes of sport style turn into ultrafashionable things in the collection of Ndombi Stella, without losing relevance for several consecutive seasons. According to Stella and Alisher next aumumn is going to be sports glamour, flavored with self-irony . As for the guests of the day of foreign designers at RFW, shows of foreign fashion designers gathered a lot of stars in Moscow, including Philip Kirkorov, Anna Semenovich, Anastasia Stotskaya, Anita Tsoi, Lada Dance, Yana Lebedeva, Ekaterina Polozova, Ekaterina Odintsova and many others.

In the autumn-winter collection ready-to-wear of 2010-2011 from Stella McCartney, shown at the Paris Fashion Week ready-to-wear Fall / Winter 2010, the famous designer Stella McCartney, as always, remained true to her favorite style.

The strict minimalism in everything and discreet elegance were combined in clothes of the brand with graceful femininity and even some sexuality. Jackets, coats and raincoats, popular with fans of the brand seemed not only cute, but comfortable as well. Overcoats were slightly decorated with pockets, decorative cutting of coat-breasts or collar or coloring of two tones.

The new collection from Stella McCartney also includes tight pants, comfortable sweaters, knitwear and stylish jackets.
Multilayered models were distinguished with certain elegance – tops covered with a layer of organza, tunics and dresses with asymmetrical cut and loops. The original embroidery in folk style served as a finishing for lower layers of some dresses, and in the low layer of some dresses shiny “scale” was sewed.

The collection was completed with austere shoes with pointed toes – most of the shoes were on a comfortable low heel.
The color palette was dominated by white-grey-black and beige skin tones traditional for the brand, slightly diluted with bright splashes of orange-red, pinkish-red and crimson shades.

Following the latest Volvo Fashion Week in Moscow, another Russian Fashion Week has recently been launched (Russian Fashion Week-2010). On the first day of the event the famous designers Vyacheslav Zaitsev and Maria Kravtsov presented their new collections.

A lot of local celebrities gathered at the fashion show of Zaitsev, including Evelina Khromchenko and her son, Alyona Doletskaya, Olga Buzova, Marianna Maksimovskaya and Tatiana Mikhalkova.
Autumn-Winter Collection 2010-2011 from Slava Zaitsev turned out to be traditionally bright and colorful, with a predominance of red-black tones and luxurious decoration orders.

In addition, Zaitsev surprised the audience, falling into modernity and showing on the runway half-naked male models and men dressed in women clothes and on the “heels”. However, although many saw parallels with the early works of Chanel, all the guests were satisfied with the showing.
Young metropolitan stars – such as Irena Ponaroshku, Yana Lebedeva, Olga Shelest and Tanya Tereshina were present at the fashion show. It turned out that the designer of the brand has changed its name – now the brand is called Muscovites and is oriented on the West.

In a press interview Kravtsova said: “We want to refocus the brand on the Western audience. In the nearest future we plan to participate in Pitty Uomo (Italy) and Tranoi (France) fashion shows. I do not know what we shall manage to do as a result, but I think it is worth trying”.
Autumn-Winter Collection 2010-2011 from Muscovites was frankly dismal. Its basic colors are black, asphalt-grey, brown, emerald green, dirty beige. Complex cut, geometric shapes and thick fabrics create unusual style that will surely interest those who prefer alternative fashion.
Voluminous sweaters, pleated skirts and loose pants, narrowing at the ankles, are the functional basis for of the collection. In general, such clothes make feel warm, cozy and comfortable in autumn, though these dresses, as they say, are not to everyone’s taste.

The famous fashion designer John Galliano decided to continue the riding costumes theme in the new collection of Christian Dior, shown at the ready-to-wear Fall / Winter 2010.

The collection was rich in all sorts of Variations on a theme jockey shape and the old lady’s riding habit, including high suede and leather boots, British military caps and top hats, jackets and coats, jackets and riding breeches, outdoor clothing, which silhouette looked like a coat-frock-coat of the XVIII century.

Of great interest was the combination of elements inspired by the theme of riding and delicate chiffon and muslin dresses in the style of the beginning of the XX century, richly decorated ruches, lace trim and other fine work. These dresses were translucent and very seductive, full of cuts and neckline.

At some point, Galliano fashion show once again managed to surprise the audience, suddenly stepping down from the theme of “noble vintage” to the stylish “country”: checkered tweed and mohair, “scottish” colors, the more “common people” caps, sweaters and dresses with major breeding.
In general, knitted items from the collection attracted as much attention as leather and fur products – thanks to new technology, they were made in the form of ruffles.
The color palette of the collection was dominated by black and white, pastel, olive-green, brown and red and yellow tones.

The Volvo Fashion Week has recently passed in Moscow and according to tradition it was marked by showing a new collection of famous fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin.
Before the parade the guests visited the fair in the arcade, where many of not very well-known Russian designers exhibited their best models. Lynx fur coats were on particular demand for which fitting there was a huge queue.

Apart from “fashion market”, the guests had the opportunity to make a free make-up and take part in a professional photo shoot. However, a lot of invited celebrities were not interested in such “cultural programs” at all. The stars, as always, were occupied with small talks and demonstration of their own clothes.

Although this time Yuri Luzhkov, the Mayor of Moscow, did not personally participate in the opening of Fashion Week, as before, there were enough celebrities on the catwalk. Among the guests of Yudashkin show were not only the designer Kira Plastinina, Sergei Zverev, Vlad Lisovets, Olga Orlova, Olga Buzova and Lena Kuletskaya, but even Joseph Kobzon, Vladimir Vinokur, Leonid Kanevsky with his wives, as well as Klara Novikova and Nadejda Babkina.

If we talk about the newest collections of Valentin Yudashkin, this time the maestro created surprisingly quiet outfits, without too much glitter and glamour. Of course, the collection also included laces, openwork appliqués and sparkling gowns, but even they looked elegant and even stern, as compared with the variety of colors and splendor of previous collections of couture.
The collection included a lot of loose trousers, elegant dresses, feminine blouses, free overalls and jackets with wide shoulders in the style of the 1980′s, and fur hats brought a little traditional Russian style.
The color palette of the collection was dominated by black of grey, silver tones and at the end of the defile “Miss World 2008” Ksenia Sukhinova paraded on the catwalk in a spectacular gown embroidered with silver and sequins.

The show of autumn-winter collection of ready-to-wear 2010-2011 by Alexander McQueen at Paris Fashion Week Paris Fashion Week ready-to-wear Fall / Winter 2010 was very special. This is not surprising because models of this talented deceased designer have recently been demonstrated on the podium.
The team of colleagues from his brand presented a small but impressive collection of 16 outfits at the Fashion Week.

The “right hand” and the main assistant of the designer Sara Barton remembers: “In his latest collection McQueen decided to move away from modernity, from the world of computers and the Internet, which he embodied in the previous show. He wanted to return to the old traditions, to his favorite handmade outfits, to the bright beauty of the fashion of Middle Ages. By the time of the death of couturier all 16 models were ready by 80%.
The poetic beauty of medieval and religious motives was reflected not only in relatively simple, noble and elegant silhouettes of models from the latest collections of Alexander McQueen – they were in a complex stamping and embroidery of fabrics, where angels from medieval icons as well as demons with paintings of Bosch were depicted.

The head of models with strange “cock” crests simultaneously reminded the rebellious youth of McQueen with “iroquois” common in Britain, and modest women headgear from medieval portraits of Northern Europe.
The last show of Alexander McQueen was held in a quiet, pleasant atmosphere – in a small old room, with minimum guests, who paid tribute to a wonderful designer.

The Paris Fashion Week of Fall / Winter ready-to-wear 2010 has started and we are going to introduce you those models shown.
The designer of the Balmain brand Christophe Dekarnin surprised all fans of the brand. Autumn-winter collection ready-to-wear of 2010-2011 from Balmain is no longer a “hussar ballet” and not fashion in the style of disco, this is luxurious “rock ‘n’ roll” in the baroque style.

The new collection of the brand is full of shining gold clothes, in which modern trends merged with echoes of the style of the seventeenth century.
The colored fur, brocade and other expensive fabrics with sophisticated designs, gold embroidery, lace neckerchief, jacket cut and bows – all this is combined in the new collection of Balmain with enlarged shoulders, tight leather pants, belts and fringes, jackets and coats in the style of rock .

There are also, of course, leopard prints, transparent blouses and dresses in vintage-style uniforms. Apart from elegant trousers suits in the spirit of the 1970 vintage and all sorts of ensembles, the brand also offers its “crown” models – sexy mini-dresses and glamorous gowns
“to the floor.”

Monique Lhuillier, known for her refined and elegant wedding and evening dresses, this time decided to use “military” style in her models.
However, the designer of the brand has chosen a very noble variation of this theme. Autumn-winter collection of ready-to-wear 2010-2011 by Monique Lhuillier, shown at Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week Fall 2010, was devoted to the Asian warriors of the past.

The models were made of Chinese silk, decorated with red dragons and other Chinese-Japanese figures, and also – some cut mini-dresses, more reminiscent of traditional Asian culture.

The abundance of lace, satin and semi-transparent fabrics, rich finish – including the intricate three-dimensional applications, emphasizing the classical figure silhouettes – all these traditionally distinguished the brand’s new clothes.
In the color texture of the collection were leading various shades of red and purple, contrasting with gray-black tones.

Naeem Khan brand glorified Michelle Obama, who had put the silvery dress of the brand on one of the official events. Since then, many people in the West are familiar with the name of the brand and its products are much better sold out.
The autumn-winter collection of ready-to-wear 2010-2011 from Naeem Khan, shown at New York Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week Fall 2010, was glittering with gold and silver.

The dresses from this collection entirely consist of a radiant finish – embroidery, sequins, small pieces of mirror and other ways to decorate clothes.
The new collection of Naeem Khan oddly combines “tribal” and “glam rock” style, and embroidered dresses are completed by biker jackets, trimmed with fur vests and jackets, skirts and capes made of feathers, lots of massive ornaments, stylish boots, and sandals in Greek style.
In the color range of models, of course, lead gold, bronze and silver colors with black, beige and opal, and also weak bursts of purple and blue tones.

One of the collections shown at Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring / Summer 2010 was the new creation of the Zuhair Murad Lebanese fashion house. The spring-summer haute-couture collection 2010 of this brand is quite acceptable within the Lebanese luxury in fashion.
Semi-transparent fabric, appliqué and complicated embroidery, inlays, feathers and drappery, too tight or curvy silhouettes – all this again was reflected in the collection Zuhair Murad.

The new thing for the brand was the emphasis on “military” style – in this case, it comes to evening dresses with elements of hussar uniforms, military uniforms and knightly armors. Some models were even adorned with epaulets and decorations, and the dress of “hacks” color really surprised everybody.
The style of “military” was futuristic and sexual – adorned with cuts, and even studded outfits (including a gold suit), and looked very challenging.

We would also like to mention the well-developed theme of the popular national style with embroidery and silhouettes, and more fabulous dresses on a transparent basis – one of the favorite tricks of the designer. Among the spring-summer dresses were quite a few mini-dresses and models with asymmetrical cut.
White-gray-black and gold-silver scale of new collection Zuhair Murad is diluted with bright red and blue-blue tones.

During Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week Fall 2010 was held a presentation of the fall-winter collection of ready-to-wear 2010-2011 by Victoria Beckham.
During this unusual catwalk Victoria Beckham has once again proved that she has become a real designer. She commented on each model so professionally, discussing the design, colors and fabrics that even the audience forgot that she is a star, but not couturier.

However, they quickly remembered that when Mrs. Beckham showed one of her dresses and promised to wear it at the ceremony of Oscars. Speaking about the collection itself, it generally received positive reviews from critics.
The new collection of Victoria Beckham, as always, was dominated by tight dresses, mini-dresses and gowns with asymmetrical drapes. This is the style that Victoria likes the most; we know that she designs all the models for herself.
At this time, jersey and fine wool materials were used, and in some clothes the designer even allowed herself more free forms and all sorts of folds and fuzzy pixel prints.

We would especially like to note a red mini-dress, a shiny silver-gold model, long dress- “robe”, a model with a shiny top and matte skirt and black dress with original belt.
In the collection black and neutral tones were combined with bright splashes of red, and blue.

Lebanese couturier Elie Saab is world famous for his designed evening dresses, which attract most of the Hollywood stars.
The spring-summer collection of 2010 ready-to-wear by Elie Saab, shown at Paris Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2010, is also full of chic dresses that may decorate anyone on “red carpet”.
It is much of interest that at this time the designer has involved many models in this collection, most of them reminding us the style of today’s popular brand such as Balmain, which surprised more than enough critics and connoisseurs of fashion.

Thus in his new spring-summer collection Elie Saab includes, first of all, dresses- drapes “to the floor” which are characteristic of that specific brand and models of the same height, though having more rigorous design. Within these outfits the female figure is transformed into a real statue of a Greek goddess. As usual, the models of this brand name differ by their asymmetrical stylish edges.
Curious innovations were the black and gold and silver-beige mini-dresses with their enlarged shoulders, similar to armors. The shiny black dress, as if made of leather and the model as though consisting of a huge bow, also looks stylish.
However, the winners of the Audience Award at the Paris Fashion Week included in the collection some dresses with prints by digital multi-colored and transparent inserts, as well as royal dresses with gold meshed patterns on their black background.

In the colorful composition of the collection, along with the classic black and beige tones, the bright red and blue hues were also presented.
The dresses were lavishly decorated with gold and silver applications, inlays and designs, as well as stylish jewelry and shoes which were complemented by elegant clutches.

Last year’s autumn-winter collection, full of tender vintage and leopard prints by the famous brand name Blumarine, was sold in America in such a successful way, that not only the designer Anna Molinari, but even the leaders of the brand got astonished.
The new 2010 spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear by Blumarine, shown at the Milan Fashion Week, gives us a real firework and a celebration of colors, as well as an amazingly bright and happy summer mood.

Established within the best traditions of the Italian haute couture, the collection is expressed in full of light dresses, tops, shirts and suits of the most cheerful neon colors.
The sparkling inlay of the flying scarves, floral prints and separations of gradients, stylish wide belts with luxurious buckles, comfortable bags, sacks, and matching jewelries decorate the new models of the brand name. Many outfits are asymmetrical on a cut, created with the techniques of draperies, “squeezed” fabrics and bandages.
The new Blumarine collection shows a considerable attention in the variations on the “military” style which are expressed in the original dresses, jackets, short trousers and jackets of an obscure color or of a dark khaki.
This collection is expected to offer its fans who are mostly fond of the young-looking styles, the cut jeans with fine embroidery and open the belly tops and shirts, in combination with sexual mini-short, light jackets, and jackets and all in the brightest colors or in military style.

The brand prepared suits with skirts and trousers, and dresses in white and beige, neutral and golden tones, with many “zippers”, as well as matching pockets and accessories for those who are more of the calm and adult glamour.
Ballet flats reflecting the color of dresses and platform sandals in silver, brown, bronze, golden, gray-beige or with camouflage prints are added-on this bright spring-summer collection, in addition to jewelry, clutches and handbags.
Experts believe that by the energy and the mood of the new collection by Blumarine it soon may well be compared with the items by Cavalli, Pucci, and even Versace.

The talented 27-year-old designer Christopher Kane has become famous in the fashion world for his ability to pass the line between the actual style and taste.
The spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010 by Christopher Kane, shown at the 25 th London Fashion Week is not an exception.

For its creation the designer was inspired by weird things: the image of Nancy Reagan, a famous American film “Lolita” with Jeremy Irons and Melanie Griffith in the leading roles and documentaries about sects of religious fanatics. “I really liked the clothes of Jeremy Irons in this film – this is how I created men’s suits of my collection”, – admitted Kane.
Children’s innocence and sense of sexual temptation united in a new collection of Christopher Kane, full of “maiden” dresses with pleating and without, in delicate pink, light blue and dark blue colors, with checkered prints, reminiscent of school uniforms.

Vintage cut of bras, “corsets” and sleeveless dresses is reminiscent of rural girls and maids of past centuries.
Besides colored checkered prints, Christopher Cain models are decorated with beaded flowers. Dresses from this collection are made in London, and the main colors are pastel ones.
In the next articles we will introduce you to the fragments of clothes and shoes from the non-standard collections.

PPQ Brand is not listed among the “luxurious”, prestigious, avant-garde or “smart” brands of Britain, but has already won some popularity – especially among the young stars of London.
The spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010 from PPQ, shown at the 25 th London Fashion Week was full of elements of retro-style strips and graphical “African” prints.

Brand’s designers, Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker, hired a group of black models to defile; their hair were made in a retro-style Nefertiti and girls were dressed in inexpensive summer dresses, cute swimwear and stylish suits.
In this bright and unpretentious collection a special attention deserve knitted products, an interesting cut of pants and some options for dresses. However, the use of Adidas logo in the PPQ collection is a little bit confusing.

However, according to experts, designers still have a considerable “work on the mistakes”, if they want to see their brand among the more prestigious brands.

The popularity of the young designer Takun Panichgula and Thakoon brand has recently increased – and last but not least, thanks to the support of First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama.

The spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear 2010 was shown at New York Fashion Week (Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2010), and was made in the best traditions of the brand, and we can say, that it continues the Thakoon subject of the Resort-2010 collection.
The collection includes bright colored dresses, some of which are made in favorite designer style “mosaic” and the other is made of “myatogo” or pleated silk jacquard with fine and colorful floral prints.

Youth outfits from Thakoon absorbed a lot of styles, including Japanese motifs and fashionable now “sporty” design.
In the next articles we will introduce you the fragments of clothes and shoes from this collection.

Modern designers are happy to study the Middle and Far East, inspired by their ancient cultural traditions. Especially popular in recent seasons is Japan.
For example, designer Erdem Moralioglu traveled to Japan in summer, studied the local art, and the manner of dressing of Japanese women of XX century and our contemporaries, wearing bright clothes instead of a kimono.

Inspired by what he saw, he created a spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010 by Erdem, which was then shown on the 25 th London Fashion Week (25th anniversary London Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2010).
“This season I did not want anything diluted – Moralioglu said in an interview. – On the contrary, I just tried to create a surreal clear focus.
Indeed, to focus the viewer’s attention on the bright and stylish, feminine and elegant clothes is not difficult, as the mini-dress covered with floral prints and appliqués are so conspicuous.

The collection also includes models with refined French laces of different colors and with elegant white-gray-black drawings. The collection is completed by feminine shoes reminiscent of the Japanese tradition, of the same bright floral prints.
In our next articles we will introduce you more fragments of clothes, shoes and accessories from Erdem.

Pay attention to the topics of tuxedos, lingerie and feminine vintage lace, which were chosen for the new spring-summer dresses by famous couturiers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The jewelries decorated with lace and denim with bright, almost gypsy prints and decorations are also very interesting.

Designer Tomas Maier is a true artist at heart and generally a very observant person. When in Florida he once saw a group of children practicing karate, he was immediately inspired by their sporty kimonos.
According to the designer, in the spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010 from Bottega Veneta, shown at the Milan Fashion Week, he decided to use a karate style kimono for the principle of “blank canvas”.

“Clothes should be a neutral backdrop for women, a blank canvas on which she can create her own image, playing with accessories and flowers – said the designer. – This is what I especially liked in the kimono for karate”.
The result of observations and reflections of Thomas Mayer became genuine, calm and serene collection of women clothing, really giving the ladies chance to express themselves.
Neutral colors, minimalism of dresses and suits, as well as some sports-style raid absolutely do not interfere with new models from Bottega Veneta to look very stylish and sometimes even glamorous.
The collection also includes tunics, shorts, corset top and a mini-suit. Ribbed texture of fabrics of some cloth reminds sports jacket, and generally the cut of the collection characterizes asymmetry.

In such a unique style are mature, mostly, everyday models, made in soft neutral tones. As it was promised by couturier, these outfits liven up colored borders and inserts, as well as scarves, shoes and handbags of various designs and bright colors.
In contrast to these models, cocktail and evening dresses from this collection flaunt the most pompous and neon colors. In fact here all is pretty strict – no complicated prints, and cut without any shenanigan.
Spring-summer collection was complemented by woven cloth sandals and shoes with open heel and mesh inserts. Accessories were diverse – for example, there were a variety of bags: from small clutches – up to dimensional soft “bags”, from leather – to wicker, including the ones with the effect of macramé.

New York Fashion Week: Stylish Minimalism of the future from Michael Kors

The famous designer Michael Kors, unlike many of his colleagues, suggested a stylish minimalism for the future warm season.
The spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010 from Michael Kors, shown at New York Fashion Week (Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2010), according to the couturier, is the result of his reflections on architectural forms.
Stylish women’s and men’s clothes from this collection, many of which are sustained in a futuristic style, have earned critical acclaim and epithets such as “Ode to Spring City.

Clear shapes and the geometry of a cut, black and white or pastel range of colors, graphic prints, unexpected cuts, the asymmetry of a cut and clear plastic insert – all this has already occurred in various spring-summer collections, but Michael Kors was more stylish than the others.
The collection’s core are mini-dresses of simple silhouettes – including cocktail and evening with sequins, but there are also cashmere outfits, swimsuit, reminiscent of the model from the Herve Leger by Max Azria, and suits with skirts. Among the materials in the collection dominate jersey, Lama, taffeta and delicate “gauntlet” leather.

I want to note a gray dress “coat” with shaped collar and a wonderful sparkling print, models with prints reminiscent of a starry sky, the spots of paint or ink blots, and the blue dress which cut reminds origami.
In the next articles we will introduce you the fragments of clothes, simple but stylish footwear, handbags and jewelry from this collection.

If you are tired of worries and crisis, you want something bright, funny and easy, then pay attention to the spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010 by Moschino Cheap & Chic, shown at the Milan Fashion Week.
Designer Rosella Jardini has created this collection, inspired by the hippie 1960 style – “flower-children” who believed in love, peace and eternal youth of the soul.
In the brand new collection are included mini-dresses (including the «baby-doll»), suits and trousers and shorts, dresses and overalls.

Models are decorated with ribbons and ruff, floral prints (daisies, carnations, daisies) and white “peas” on a black background, sequins and various “hippie” and amusing inscriptions. The same inscription is repeated on the bags and necklaces.
Influenced by American artist Jim Dine, Jardini added to a collection the dresses with a mosaic of color blocks of bright colors characteristic of pop culture.
Interestingly, in the colors of the collection black and white and pink-red tones are leading. Completely black and pink dresses remind the style of “emo”. There are also a few rainbow patterns in collections.
Of particular note are perforated lace dress and a white dress with a heart on the chest, as if created from patches, the model with elements of the male tuxedo, a mini-jumpsuit with appliqué in the form of a swan and a white dress, opening the shoulders.

Complementary to all these models are bright bags of different sizes, funny glasses, flowers, hats in the form of daisies, “talking” necklace, gold plated bananas and other fruit on the chains, and multi-colored shoes. The latter consists of shoes with the volume of organza flowers and brougham with bright ribbons of ribbons.
In general, the new spring-summer collection of Moschino Cheap & Chic differs with youth spirit and fun, easy style, and elevates mood.

The duo of young and talented designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough came up with marks for Proenza Schouler bright and stylish spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear 2010.

“We wanted to create something fresh and new, therefore, largely inspired by the surfers costumes and skaters clothes – because we grew up on these things”, – said designers in an interview.
At New York Fashion Week (Mercedes-Benz IMG New York Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2010) Proenza Schouler brand, introduced a number of remarkable and bright mini-dresses and costumes, many of which were decorated with prints in the style of “wild”.

It is surprising that the designers managed so gradually and gently to anchor in the model the theme of surfers and skateboarders sportswear that it did not stop to look glamorous and dressy. Clothing and bags of collection are characterized by the same juicy, and even neon colors and prints, as clothing.

Famous couturier John Galliano at Paris Fashion Week has once again proved that fashion show can be a magical one.
The fashion show, with lighted lasers on podium, with flying balloons and smoke, made a great impression.
It turns out, that while creating a spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010, the designer John Galliano was inspired by wardrobe and style of silent film stars.

“It all happened after a research trip to Los Angeles, – says John Galliano. – I examined the old Hollywood houses, and imagined how in them lived the great stars of silent cinema in the beginning of XX century.
That style of dressing of actresses of that time led to the emergence of the glamorous gowns and poetic chiffon, floral appliqué from film, flowery hats, glittering gowns, gloves, light mini-capes and jackets, as well – the overall style of a vintage collection.

Embroidery and appliqué, lace and jewelry, veils and feathers, the abundance of transparent fabrics – all these created strange images on the podium, with particular style. Gentle and bright colors, layering models and high quality of tailoring distinguish this unusual collection. In the next articles we will introduce you to fragments of clothes, shoes, handbags and other accessories from John Galliano.

The spring-summer collection of ready-to-wear in 2010 by Vivienne Westwood, shown at Paris Fashion Week, did not surprise connoisseurs of fashion, because the designer has once again reiterated her techniques and style that once made her so famous.
As always, Vivienne Westwood is struggling against the Earth’s environment and global warming with the help of fashion: the clothes are attached with placards with slogans, showing the respective rising air temperatures.

Despite Japanese motives of the makeup and operetta feathers in disheveled hair of models, costumes by Vivienne Westwood have not undergone significant changes: all the same colored model, as if created out of scraps and decorated with poster lettering.
Funny hats and jewelry, woven from threads and straw, gave the charm to the grunge collection.
I want to note tights with colored prints, original prints on shoes and clothes that resemble abstract paintings.

Men’s fashion week has already started in Milan. New collection of the Spring / Summer 2010 was demonstrated by the world’s leading brands such as D & G, Burberry, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Armani. The main hero of D & G fashion show became Madonna’s beloved Brazilian model Jesus Luz.
The next season’s trend is still a classical elegance. Many designers have also offered a model in the style of nonchalant chic. Modern men of fashion are not forbidden to wear jackets on the bare body, torn jeans, blazer with elongated sleeves, looking from under jackets and shirts three times longer than the jacket.

Giorgio Armani (Giorgio Armani) has always been very consistent and moderately elegant. Shirts in thin stripes, narrow ties in the style of 80′s, asymmetric notches, cut jackets complex, original shoes, as if from an American movie screens – these are the main notes in the collection of Emporio Armani P / E 2009. The main “decoration” of the fashion show of the great Italian designer was his invited guest Fergie (American singer).

The third show in Milan was held by Burberry. The creative director of the Brand, Christopher Bailey, said that the new Spring 2010 collection reflects the general mood of economic downturn. All the things are elegant as always, but not bright. Burberry collection is an image of a typical English day: first, it’s raining, and after comes the bright sun. But in general, everything is done in a very modest way, if not say restrained. Basic materials are cotton and flax. A jacket with a printed pattern and glossy finish, as well as bulky redingote and shiny boots also looked very nice. It is very courageous and gorgeous at the same time.

The sexiest collection in Milan was presented in the fashion show of Donatella Versace. Creation of Dolce and Gabbana was balanced between the everyday elegance and refinement. GF Ferre represented his collection with a lot of white things. Among the accessories of 2010 are not only the traditional leather belts and purses, but also bags and objects of various shades, which can be carried in hand or over the shoulder.

Despite the global economic crisis, wedding fashion continues to make happy present and future brides with new innovations. Not long ago in Barcelona there was held a wedding fashion week demonstrating stylish solutions for brides, bridegrooms, bride’s girlfriends and even wedding guests. Brands, which participated in this Fashion Week, provided everything beginning from wedding dresses and accessories to make-up, hairstyles and even a wedding dinner.

The ideal color of wedding dresses of 2010 is traditional white, but there were special offers from designers of beige, pink and red dresses and even white trouser suits for the off-centered brides.
