The same style was chosen by Gwyneth at the “Oscar” ceremony in 2005, when she wore a pink dress from Stella McCartney. This silk corset dress did not suit the actress either- the breast size was small and fitted the waist tightly.
Let’s just hope that the traversed path has changed the taste of Paltrow, and the recent success with the pink dress from Prada was not accidental.

One of the most vivid attires of the London ceremony was the golden dress of Melinda Messenger with a skirt pleated from the rear, an open bodice and and a transparent inset on the back.
As for the American ceremony 2010 MTV Movie Awards, it is seen from the published photos of stars that silver “metallic” won the hearts of many ladies among the guests.
First of all, it is worth mentioning about the unusual outfit of Katy Perry from Zuhair Murad: a semi-transparent mini-dress, where on the basis of skin color of gleaming silver mirror sequins and rhinestones are marked. Tatiana Sorokko is the first Russian top model, who even in Soviet times made a successful career in the West and received international recognition. Her career began in 1990 in Paris. The former model Tatiana Sorokko brought to Moscow dresses which she wore at different times – thus, the exhibition reflects her views on fashion and style, but at the same time almost shows the entire history of fashion of the XX century.
One ofthe organizers of the event was the Tatler magazine, and the curator of the exhibition was Dennita Sivel, previously the director of collections in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and at the moment – the head of the fashion department in the Phoenix Museum of Art.

The exhibition represents primarily works of well-known brands such as Lanvin, Balmain, Balenciaga, Ungaro and also Ralph Rucci which are one of Tatiana’s most favorite brands by her own admission.
The exhibition brought together a lot of capital celebrities, including the organizer of Russian Fashion Week Alexander Shumsky, Nastia Vinokur, Evelina Khromchenko, Paulina Kitsenko, Danila Polyakov and many other figures of national fashion and art.

The strict minimalism in everything and discreet elegance were combined in clothes of the brand with graceful femininity and even some sexuality. Jackets, coats and raincoats, popular with fans of the brand seemed not only cute, but comfortable as well. Overcoats were slightly decorated with pockets, decorative cutting of coat-breasts or collar or coloring of two tones.

The new collection from Stella McCartney also includes tight pants, comfortable sweaters, knitwear and stylish jackets.

Almost all the outfits are multilayered, and the dominant colors are black-gray-white and beige and yellow tones.

And in an advertising photo shoot of spring-summer collection 2010 from Donna Karan the same model is presented in more gentle and romantic tones in accordance with dresses. The author of these stylish images became the famous master of fashion photography Patrick Demarchelier.

And in January of this year, Blake Lively was captured by paparazzi in this sheep leather coat in New York. Blake also wore black boots, dark jeans, a light sweater, a hat, dark glasses and a black leather bag.

Apart from “fashion market”, the guests had the opportunity to make a free make-up and take part in a professional photo shoot. The poetic beauty of medieval and religious motives was reflected not only in relatively simple, noble and elegant silhouettes of models from the latest collections of Alexander McQueen – they were in a complex stamping and embroidery of fabrics, where angels from medieval icons as well as demons with paintings of Bosch were depicted.

The head of models with strange “cock” crests simultaneously reminded the rebellious youth of McQueen with “iroquois” common in Britain, and modest women headgear from medieval portraits of Northern Europe.
The last show of Alexander McQueen was held in a quiet, pleasant atmosphere – in a small old room, with minimum guests, who paid tribute to a wonderful designer.

There is no doubt that Marchesa brand was the champion of the “red carpet” of the ceremony “Oscar”, a brand which is famous for its luxurious and elegant evening gowns. Three celebrities chose the models of this brand at the same time.
Sandra Bullock really became the queen of the evening in a magical silver dress from the new collection of Marchesa, with tints of molten metal with ice patterns on the top. The elegant decorations and small clutch in the tone of the dress complemented the image of the actress.
Vera Farmiga chose a dress of this brand of sensual bright fuchsia color – all in wavy pleated frills. And Gaburi Sidibe once again ventured to show her figure in a blue low-cut dress by Marchesa, decorated with embroidered silver flowers.
Another examples of the elegant and noble couture at the Oscar ceremony were dresses from YSL. Kathryn Bigelow chose a grey dress with embroidery and wonderful Kate Winslet wore a silver model with a corset top.

It remains only to note that Sigourney Weaver chose for the ceremony a red asymmetrical dress from Lanvin, and Meryl Streep came in a white from Chris March. Carrie Mulligan wore a black dress from Prada, and the dress of Tina Fey was created by Michael Kors brand.

The 23-year-old Hollywood actress co-starred in a photo shoot of a famous photographer Paola Kudacki in New York for a special issue of the Harper’s Bazaar Super Issue magazine, appearing this time in a somewhat more modest way than usual, and only in white dresses.

White-gray-black and gold-silver scale of new collection Zuhair Murad is diluted with bright red and blue-blue tones.

From the new collection of Ermanno Scervino outfits we would like to mention coats, dresses and tops in the style of trench, long white dress like nightgowns and a wonderful set of black “gothic” clothes.
Among the models in the Gothic style, there are interesting variations on the theme of the “little black dress”, suits of leather, flashing knit or tweed jackets, leather suit, lace tops, and even one luxurious evening dress.

The color texture of the collection includes yellow-brown and white and black tones, slightly diluted with gray-blue hues and a bright fuchsia. The collection is supplemented with stylish bags and shoes, with which we have already introduced you. It remains only to add that a supermodel Natalia Vodianova participated in the fashion show of the collection.

We must pay tribute to Victoria – she was even a little cursing himself for such an extravagance.

GQ magazine also has a “black list” of the worst dressed celebrities. This “shameful dozen” is headed by the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown – naming him “anything but the best example of British style. Two more politics are also included in this list: the President of France Nicolas Sarkozy – in third place, and the North Korean leader Kim Jong Il in theeighth position.
However, this month in glossy magazine were not only assessed the style and the ability to wear of the stars-men: for example, Vogue magazine called the British star and TV anchorwoman Alexa Chung the most stylish celebrity of 2009.
26-year-old Alex, who until recently worked for MTV, often leads different lists of “the most stylish stars”. Then comes the famous actress Audrey Tautou, who recently played the role of young Coco Chanel.
The third position in the list is taken by 44-year-old Sarah Jessica Parker – obviously influenced by her role in the film “Sex and the City”.

One of the surprises was the appearance of Lady Gaga on the 11 th position in the list of the most stylish ladies – Vogue, apparently, appreciates her efforts to create the most eccentric and original style in life and on stage.
Michelle Obama took 14 th place in the list, and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy only the 19-th.

In the second part of our review you will see a variety of models of outerwear: from classic coat – to outer garments, from the “school” style of minimalism – to fur-trimmed sleeves.

Minimalism
Today it has become fashionable to draw attention to the shoulders and the neck of the coat, removing all the unnecessary things.
Models of this trend may seem rather modest and simple in appearance, due to the minimalistic design: it has few buttons or “zippers” – all fasteners are hidden. Note that such a design is successfully combined with elegant, sculptural silhouettes.
The main colors: white, all shades of gray, antique gold, navy blue, red-brown, black.

Classical strict style
In difficult economic times, both sellers and buyers are increasingly turning to the classics, rather than to risky fashion innovations.

Very attractive trend, creating a charming image of a young schoolgirl. This is one of the few winter destinations, where you can see the fitting model, emphasizing the slender figure.
But here, the silhouette is given a light volume due to expansion of the lower part, which sometimes creates the form of the Empire style: it is particularly well illustrated by the model from Marc Jacobs with its high position of buttons.
By the way, note that the double row of buttons is a mandatory and a key element of decoration, a symbol of school uniforms.

Fur Sleeves
At the end of our review we would like to remind again that sleeves and shoulders are in the center of attention this winter.

Winter is in full swing, and we can determine which of the proposed styles are the most relevant ones- in fact not all represented brand collections take root in fashion.
Today we begin to acquaint you with the major fashion trends of women outerwear of fall-winter season 2009-2010.

Focusing on the shoulders
The line shape of the shoulders and sleeves require maximum attention this winter. These details make the familiar silhouettes very attractive and fashionable.
Whether it is trench or the most ordinary cloak, it will undoubtedly benefit from this cut, which is headed today by the style of 1980.

As a proof of this, the 23-year-old girl starred in the original photo shoot for V Magazine of fashion. In this photoshoot Crystal wears the same things as her skinny counterpart – 17-year-old Jacqueline Jablonski with a typical “model” figure.

Recently Kanye has shortly become a model – appeared in the catalog of the spring-summer collection in 2010 of the Japanese youth brand A Bathing Ape (abbreviated as BAPE). In the Christmas windows of the Paris Printemps store department reigns the “Russian Winter”, full of fashionable folk style together with innovative bright clothes, bears, dolls and Snow Maiden in gold Faberge egg.
There is also a magnificent chandelier Baccarat, first shown publicly at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1867. The crystal fixture was created specifically for the Russian Czarina Maria Alexandrovna and Tsar Nicholas II.
The shop windows of the menswear department in the store of Printemps are full of the snow-covered forest, full not only with animals, but hunters, skiers and tourists.
